Protect Your Career With The Best Educational Course | Megan’s ideas

The job market is a tough puzzle these days, especially when looking for highly skilled positions. The competition is fierce and you must stand out from the rest of the applicants.

Ensuring the sustainability of your career means ensuring that you remain a desirable job prospect. Achieving this goal is to advance your education and upgrade existing qualifications. It might be time for a complete career change as the world of work evolves. Here are some tips for staying employable in an uncertain job market:

Think technology

Very few people have jobs that do not require some degree of computer literacy. In the future, some basic knowledge and skills will be insufficient to secure a well-paid job. A more advanced and deeper understanding of technology and how it improves our lives is needed. EduRef provides vital information about college and university courses in medical billing and coding that applicants can take with financial assistance.

Any courses that improve your understanding of the technology and its applications will secure you future employment. Having a specialized knowledge of operating systems and ideas about their usefulness is essential for professional success. Obtaining the necessary qualifications is to your advantage, as both accreditation and experience count in your favor when applying for a job.

Scan the environment

As mentioned earlier, a complete career change might become necessary as the world of work undergoes such drastic changes. If you think this will ensure the sustainability of your employability, start researching which career areas are growing and how you might fit into them.

Then look for courses that provide the skills and knowledge you need for your career change. It might be possible to enroll in online courses that will allow you to continue working and earn a salary while continuing your education. Covid-19 has proven how successful e-learning can be, and many institutions are now offering distance learning courses.

be precise

Many companies do not require employees to earn bachelor’s degrees that cover a broad academic area in order to get a job. Instead, there is a growing trend that favors specific qualifications in a narrow area of expertise.

This has led educational institutions to start offering short courses that address specific topics. For example, you don’t have to earn a marketing degree when a social media marketing qualification makes you an expert in a niche field.

Do not neglect soft skills

Not all of the specialist qualifications available will necessarily get you or keep the job. Soft skills are often underestimated even though they are essential to professional success. Most university courses do not cover these topics, and many qualified people enter the world of work without knowing how to survive.

The essential soft skills needed to keep a job include leadership, time management, communication, decision making and problem solving. While these can come naturally for many people, they can also be learned and honed to make you a better job prospect than other applicants.

Develop a professional network

An educational opportunity has many facets. While it improves your knowledge, skills and expertise, it also offers an opportunity to develop a network of contacts that could be useful in your future employment plans. This is where online courses can be invaluable when joining a group of students that may include people from different countries.

The job market is global now that the success of remote work is proven. Therefore, developing international contacts could help to find work anywhere in the world. Mixing with people from diverse cultures exposes you to new ideas and experiences that could change your perspective and make you a better employee. This will improve your employment prospects in multinational companies.

Or think of Pepijn Lanen (Faberyayo) who, with his “7 mantras for creativity”, will ensure that a creative idea that has been waiting for months will finally be developed, Maarten van der Weijden on perseverance and increase chances of success regardless of the circumstances, or Selwyn Senatori who, under the motto “there is a first time for everything”, explains how to get started with your first work of art.

Partners united in the On Track foundation

A large and diverse network of partners is united in the On Track foundation, including Randstad Group Netherlands, Google, Unilever, by Gelijke Kansen Alliantie (Alliance for Equal Opportunities), Albeda College, Microsoft, NS, RTL and others. The college of Albeda declares about its On Track partnership: “As Albeda, we defend an inclusive society where equal opportunities for every individual, and in particular for our students and our employees, is an important objective. . Education, development and state of mind are key factors in obtaining and seizing opportunities. We believe in lifelong learning and want to encourage and facilitate it. We see On Track as a tool that supports us in this task, because learning should be personal, inspiring and barrier-free. The app offers an answer to that, and we’re happy to support it.

Academia is also interested in On Track. Mirjam van Praag, President of VU University Amsterdam: “In education there may be more room for new digital learning methods. I’m very curious about On Track and the opportunities it can offer at university. ‘

On Track continues to renew itself – new tracks are added regularly. With On Track, people keep discovering new things. Fun, accessible and always inspiring. Learning becomes as much fun as checking your social networks.

Sci-Fi Educational App Studyum Raises $ 1.5 Million, Just Announced IoT Date

Igor Dyachenko, CEO of STUDYUM

Studyum has announced the date for its IDO milestone. The IDO will take place on September 20, 2021, on OccamRazer, an Occam.fi fundraising platform.

SINGAPORE, SINGAPORE, August 26, 2021 /EINPresswire.com/ – Study, a paradigm disruptor among startups, has announced the date for its IDO milestone. The IDO will take place on September 20, 2021 on OccamRazer, an Occam.fi fundraising platform with a long history of successful launching of decentralized projects. Although the IDO took place within a month, Studyum has already raised considerable financial support, exceeding $ 1.5 million in funding.

Studyum is a balanced amalgamation of education and technology with the long-term goal of completely disrupting the way we learn. The essence of edtech projects is to combine education and technology, but often rather than balancing the two, projects have placed more emphasis on one side of the seesaw. According to his white paper, Studyum aims to strike a balance – a balance that will ensure that technology and education cover each other’s blind spots. Encouraging learning through a gamified system and motivating learners with valuable NFTs are just a few examples.

Studyum CEO and Co-Founder Igor Dyachenko said:

“We are working with the best in the industry to make learning accessible and scalable. We want to disrupt the education system because it has always prioritized grades and points over students.”

The noble quest for the individualization of learning is probably what makes this edtech so popular. The project hit the $ 1.5 million mark even before its IDO stage was announced – a clear indication of the public’s eagerness for a change in the way we learn. Studyum slowly revealed its modus operandi through a side project called Studyum Academy where they cover both the technical and psychological functioning of the system.

Final prognosis: clear sky ahead.
